Despite its structural origin in the ACTH pathway, it is not full ACTH and does not act as a stress hormone.<\/p>\n<h2>Semax in research \u2014 mechanism &amp; evidence<\/h2>\n<p>Research on Semax has focused mainly on the neurotrophic factor BDNF, on neural plasticity, on cerebral ischemia and on the inflammatory response in the nervous system.
